BRANDING A TEAM DESTINED FOR THE SPOTLIGHT
Gameplan Creative partnered with the producers behind an upcoming Hollywood film to bring Armadillo United to life—a fully realized soccer club designed specifically for the big screen. Built from the ground up, the project blends authentic sports design with cinematic storytelling, creating a club identity that feels both believable within the global football landscape and compelling within the narrative. The branding draws from the armadillo’s distinctive form—its layered shell, strength, and resilience—translating those qualities into a bold, geometric visual system that reflects both protection and power. Through a combination of crest design, typography, and material exploration, the identity captures the grit, unity, and spirit of a team fighting for its place.
Across the film, we developed a comprehensive visual ecosystem that extends far beyond the logo—designing match kits, training gear, sideline apparel, and environmental graphics that appear authentically on screen. Every element was crafted to perform under cinematic conditions while maintaining credibility within the world of professional sport.
