Charlotte Bobcats Team Branding & Identity

Gameplan Creative developed the brand identity for the
expansion NBA Charlotte Bobcats in 2003. Establishing
a strong team bond that connects with new fans from
the onset is critical. Our solution was to create a bold
Bobcats profile logo in combination with a strong red-orange primary color, followed by team uniforms with unique
trim and detailing not seen before in basketball. After a
successful identity launch, Gameplan developed the team's mascot, basketball court, new arena identity, website
and collateral materials for their inaugural season.
