Gameplan Creative developed the brand identity for
the NBA Charlotte Bobcats expansion team in 2004.
As the second NBA expansion team in Charlotte in
14 years, we were presented with the challenge of creating an identity both unique and relevant to Charlotte basketball fans. Gameplan designed a strong Bobcats profile logo in combination with a rich orange primary color, providing the new franchise a unique and striking team identity. Gameplan extended the team identity throughout the team uniforms, court designs, the mascot, the website, an inaugural season logo,
and new arena marks.
