As global markets evolve, one of the challenges facing major cities is how to attract and retain the "Millennial Generation," the talented and educated demographic of 23 to 34-year-olds. World Business Chicago, an economic development organization, looked to us to address this challenge and to collaborate on an award-winning multimedia presentation titled, "Chicago: Cooler by the Lake." Distributed nationwide through recruiters and job fairs, this high-energy, interactive presentation introduces young professionals to the benefits of living, working and succeeding in Chicago.

 


Interactive Presentation

Cooler By the Lake includes a wide-range of information about living and working in Chicago, highlighting everything from the top employers to the top bars and recreational sports leagues. The content is divided into four categories: Welcome to Chicago, Live Chicago, Work Chicago, and Explore Chicago. This ultimate city-living guide, originally produced as a CD-ROM, provides neighborhood maps, industry data for all key sectors and showcases cultural, business, recreational and entertainment venues throughout the city.

Cooler By the Lake includes a variety of quality content such as a 2-minute, high-energy video introduction, a music player featuring a soundtrack of Chicago-based bands and over 250 photos of Chicago. In addition, the interactive presentation links to over 150 web sites that pertain to life in Chicago. Cooler By The Lake has won numerous interactive B-2-B awards, including the Business Marketing Association of Chicago's Gold Tower Award.
